Description

Alice in Wonderland Queen of Hearts and Flamingo Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1951). "There he is again!" "I warn you, child. If I lose my temper, you lose your head!" Alice and the Queen of Hearts are in the middle of a rousing game of croquet in the Queen's rose garden, before it is disrupted by the antics of the Cheshire Cat. Her Royal Majesty was voiced by Verna Felton, who also voiced the Fairy Godmother, Flora, and Aunt Sarah in a few other iconic 1950s animated Disney films. This is a lovely 16 field 3-peghole animation drawing from Disney's 1951 animated feature film Alice in Wonderland, a fantastic image of the famous Disney villain. The drawing features the Queen with the flamingo she uses as a croquet mallet, created for the scene at about the1:06:15 mark of the film. Measuring approximately 10'' x 8.5'', the animation drawing is noted 37 in the lower right corner and is in Very Good condition with light edge and handling wear and faint age-related toning.
