    Description

Alice in Wonderland March Hare at the Tea Party Story Book Illustration (Walt Disney, c. 1960s-70s). While searching for the White Rabbit, Alice finds herself participating in a "mad" tea party, where she meets the March Hare. "Mad as a March Hare" has long been a popular English expression, referencing the March mating season of the English Hare, in which we assume the hare do indeed act quite mad. Here's a superb storybook or consumer productions illustration of Alice's March Hare at the tea party. The art is in gouache on paper, matted with an opening of 17.25" x 13", and framed with Plexiglas for an overall size of 31" x 26.75" x 1". Frame is sold as-is. Art condition is Very Good with minor handling wear.
