Description

Alice in Wonderland Mad Hatter Animation Drawing Sequence of 3 (Walt Disney, 1951). "Pardon me. You were seeking information of some kind?" The Mad Hatter nonsensically enjoys his tea in this amazing sequence of three original rough animation drawings. This delightful set is rendered in graphite created for the moments seen at the 45:01 mark of the film. The animation of this iconic scene was supervised by John Lounsbery (1911 - 1976), a master animator and one of Disney's "Nine Old Men." The drawings measure about 7'' tall, noted as 15, 58, and 65 in the lower right corners. Very Good condition overall with minor edge and handling wear and light age-related toning.
From the Disney Legend Manuel Gonzalez Archive.
