Description

Alice in Wonderland Alice Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1951). "Yes, I know. But I was just thinking..." From Disney's 1951 animated film Alice in Wonderland, we have in this lot a rough animation drawing displaying a stupendous image of our famous protagonist. Various big names like Milt Kahl, Ollie Johnston, and Marc Davis had a hand in bringing her Alice to life, with her animation famously directed by one of Walt's Nine Old Men, Eric Larson (1905 - 1988). Similar to the image that appears at approximately the 1:02:26 mark of the movie, as Alice tries to explain to the Queen of Hearts that she's trying to find her way home, this animation drawing features the beloved character rendered in graphite and red pencil measuring 7" tall on the 16 field animation paper. Some normal age-related toning with minor handling and edge wear from production. The condition is Very Good.
