Description

Alice in Wonderland Alice Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1951). "But who'd ever think to look for me here?" Featured in this lot is a stunning, enormous 16 field 3-peghole animation drawing of Alice from Disney's wild and wacky animated feature Alice in Wonderland! The film was based on Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking-Glass and followed Alice on her strange adventures in Wonderland. The drawing is rendered in graphite and nicely centered on the page, measuring about 6.25'' x 9.5''. You can find the image at about 54:12 as Alice begins to lose hope of ever finding a way home now that she's stuck without a path in Tulgey Wood. She vents her frustrations to the strange animals of Wonderland shortly before she begins to sing the song "Very Good Advice", composed by Sammy Fain with lyrics by Bob Hilliard. The drawing is noted 58 in the lower right corner and is in Very Good condition with light edge and handling wear, a picture-perfect addition to your Alice in Wonderland collection.
