Description

Alice in Wonderland Alice and Flamingo Animation Drawing Sequence of 3 (Walt Disney Studios, 1951). Alice struggles with her flamingo croquet mallet in this comedic set of three original rough animation drawings from Walt Disney's surreal animated classic Alice in Wonderland. Created for the humorous scene beginning at the 1:04:59 mark of the film, this set of drawings is a gestural and expressive study of the variety of slapstick visuals the scene could contain. The drawings are rendered masterfully in graphite on three sheets of 16 field animation paper, ranging in size from 7" x 9.5" to 6.5" x 6". The drawings are numbered 7, 197, and 348, and they show minor handling and edge wear from normal studio use. Age-related toning on edges, and a small tear in one corner. The condition overall is Very Good.
