Description
Aladdin Rare Genie Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1992). Featured in this lot is the "ever impressive, long contained, often imitated, but never duplicated" Genie of the lamp! Voiced by the late Robin Williams (1951 - 2014), this beloved character stole the show with his eye-catching visual gags, heartwarming personality, and expressive acting. He is featured here in this 12-field 3-peghole animation drawing, centered on the page and utterly confused. This large drawing is rendered in graphite, marked for Sequence 21 and Scene 40. It can be found at about the 1:17:03 mark of the film after Jasmine pretends to fall in love with Jafar. The drawing itself is noted as G-27 in the lower right and measures approximately 7.75'' x 6.75''. Any production art from this film is rare, as it had no hand-painted production cels and mixed traditional and digital animation. We've seen very few of the one and only Genie, so don't miss the opportunity to add him to your collection.
