Aladdin Iago Animation Drawings Sequence of 3 (Walt Disney, 1992). Here's a wonderful laughing sequence of three original rough animation drawings of Jafar's pet parrot Iago. Former Saturday Night Live comedian Gilbert Gottfried voiced this cynical, hot-tempered character in his unmistakable shrill style; one can practically hear him when looking at these marvelous drawings! The art is in graphite over blue pencil, with full image sizes of 4" x 3" for the drawing marked (in the upper right) 174; 4" x 2.75" for drawing 175; and 3.25" x 3" for drawing 177. All three are on sheets of 16 field animation paper. A superb sequence! Edge wear, with one corner fold, well away from the image; Very Good condition.Auction Info
