    Description

    Al Dempster Walt Disney's Alice in Wonderland Book Illustration (Simon and Shuster, 1951). Alice makes her way through the maze in this splendid illustration, taken from the book adaptation of Disney's 1951 animated feature film. In it, we see the diminutive King of Hearts and White Rabbit, and in the distance, the daydreaming Alice with her cat Dinah and older sister, at the bank of the river. A charming gouache on board painting, sure to please anyone who loves this timeless tale. The image area measures approximately 9.75" x 13.25", and the art is matted and glass framed to an overall size of 18" x 21.5". It's in Excellent condition. From the Estate of John McLaughlin.
