Al Dempster - Painting of a Pier Original Art (1950-60s). This fine art painting is from the hand of Al Dempster (1911-2001), long-time Disney background painter and artist on the Little Golden Book series. This 2006 Disney Legend Inductee worked at Disney Studios for approximately 34 years during the heyday of the classic Disney feature film output. The 18" x 14" impressionistic acrylic painting on stretched canvas is signed in the lower left corner and framed to 23.25" x 19.25". It was purchased as a Disney Studio Employee Art sale by fellow Disney Legend Inductee "Stormy" Norman Palmer. In Fine condition.More information about Al Dempster.
