A Witch's Tangled Hare Bugs Bunny Production Drawing (Warner Brothers, 1959). A Witch's Tangled Hare opens with the poet, who looks similar to William Shakespeare, trying to write and coming across a castle whose mailbox has "Macbeth" written on it. Then he begins to write a story based on this title. This is a terrific animation production drawing from A Witch's Tangled Hare, directed by Abe Levitow (1922 - 1975) and released on 10/31/59. Mr. Levitow began working at Warner Brothers Studios in 1940 leaving briefly to join the service during WWII, returning in 1945 to work under Chuck Jones (1912 - 2002). The drawing was rendered in graphite on 12 field animation paper. The image features Bugs Bunny and William Shakespeare. The drawing has the dialog "Oh yes you will because you're William Shakespeare." This is a great full figure image of Bugs measuring 6.5" in an image area of 10" x 6.5". The piece is in a frame of 19.5" x 15.5" under Plexiglas with a mat opening of 13" x 9.5". Frame sold as-is. Included is copy of the screen grab affixed to the back of the frame. Condition is Fine.
