Description

A Pizza Tweety-Pie Sylvester and Tweety Storyboard Drawings Sequence of 3 (Warner Brothers, 1958). While on vacation in Venice with Granny, Tweety dodges the many attempts of an "Italiano Pussycat" (Sylvester) to nab and eat the little yellow bird. In this original sequence of three rare original storyboards from this Friz Freleng-directed short which was first shown on 2/22/1958, Sylvester is eating the "spagett" when he sees Tweety from his window; he then uses a noodle as a lasso to snare Tweety. The sequence begins at about the 5:18 timestamp in the film. Tweety gets caught by the spaghetti lasso at the 5:37 mark. The drawings are in graphite with yellow and red pencil highlights on paper ruled with an outline box measuring approximately 5.25" x 3.75". Each drawing is mounted on a backing sheet measuring 8.5" x 7.5". Condition is Very Good with minor handling and mild age-related paper toning.
