25 Ways to Quit Smoking Animation Drawing by Bill Plympton (1989). Bill Plympton is a very well-known artist, graphic designer, cartoonist, and animator, with work appearing in such prestigious publications as The New York Times, Vogue, Rolling Stone, and National Lampoon, to name just a few. His animated short films have been been a popular feature at Spike and Mike's Festival of Animation events. Here's an original drawing used in the production of one of those shorts, 25 Ways to Quit Smoking (no cels were used; everything was shot from the graphite and color pencil drawings). The art has an image area of about 5", and is signed and titled by Bill Plympton directly below the image. This sheet of 12 field animation paper has handling wear and minor spotting (most likely from a small fire at Spike's house several years ago), and is in Good condition. From the Spike and Mike Festival of Animation Archives.
