101 Dalmatians Production Drawing and Background Layout (Walt Disney, 1961).
101 Dalmatians is a landmark in animation history for many reasons. It was the first Disney animated feature to be in a contemporary setting. It was also the first one created by a single story man, Bill Peet. In this lot we have two fantastic pieces. The first piece is a gorgeous background layout of Cruella's "Hell Hall". Also in this lot is a wonderful production drawing of one of Pongo and Perdita's pups. Both piece were rendered in graphite on 16 field animation paper. This is superb original artwork from one of Disney's most endearing films. Edge wear, very small tear in the top right corner of the layout, age-related toning. Otherwise, Good condition.
