"The Art of Retta Scott" Waterfront Painting Original Art (Walt Disney, c. 1950-60s). As the wife of a Navy Submarine Commander, Retta Scott lived in many locations. Hawaii, Connecticut, and Northern California just to name a few. Here is a great Retta Scott original watercolor painting of a waterfront dock area with boats docked off the pier. This may be from a time when she and her husband were stationed in New London, Connecticut. She painted in watercolor wherever she lived and sold her paintings in local art galleries. This is a one-of-kind Retta Scott original watercolor painting. The piece is from the family estate. It is unsigned and untitled, but there is no doubt of her style and pallet of color. Painted on light board of 20" x 14". Minor handling and edge wear. Overall Very Good condition.
