    "The Art of Preston Blair" Anatomy Drawings Group of 8 (Walt Disney, c. 1930s-40s). Preston Blair (1908 - 1995) was the brother to Disney artist Lee Blair. He animated Mickey Mouse as the Sorcerers Apprentice in Fantasia. He also was Tex Avery's main animator in several "Red Hot" theatrical shorts. Mr. Blair was also was well-known for his Walter Foster publications on animation instruction. This is a series of early Preston Blair anatomy drawings. Detailed graphite and charcoal on eight 7.5" x 9.25" to 11" x 14" pieces of paper, most with art on both sides. Minor handling, edge wear and tear. Fair to Good condition. From the Mary Blair Family Trust.
