"The Art of Elmer Plummer" Female Portrait Painting (Walt Disney, c. 1930s). Elmer Plummer (1910 - 1986) had a successful career in animation, teaching, and as an artist. After World War II, and after being a major exhibitor for the California Watercolor Society and their exhibits and shows, he stopped painting and showcasing his work. His artwork is very hard to find. This is an Elmer Plummer original watercolor of a woman in shadows, on art paper measuring 12" x 16". It is signed on the bottom right border "E. Plummer." It has some brown paper remnants on the borders from a previous framing, but nothing near the subject matter. Amazing study of shadows and color in this Plummer original watercolor painting! Minor handling and edge wear. Overall condition is Good.
