Description"The Art of Chuck Jones" Tweety Bird/Pudgie the Parakeet Drawing by Chuck Jones (Warner Brothers, c. 1980s/90s). Here is one interesting lot. Tweety Bird cartoon shorts first came out of Bob Clampett's unit, then Friz Freling's unit. This is a rare Tweety Bird type study from the hand of Mr. Chuck Jones. Chuck Jones did animated a Tweety-like character Pudgie the Parakeet in the 1993 animated sequence in the live action film Mrs. Doubtfire. One has to wonder is this a study for this character, or a study for one of his limited edition pieces. Either way, this is a great drawing of Tweety Bird studies in graphite of 4". Graphite on 3-peghole animation sheet. Along with the study is an elaborate table and lamp drawing. This interesting piece of Chuck Jones original artwork is hand-signed by Chuck Jones (1912 - 2002). Minor hankering and edge wear. Overall condition is Very Good.
