Description"The Art of Art Riley" Bambi-Inspired Painting (Walt Disney, c. 1940s-50s). Arthur "Art" Riley (1911 - 1998) was a background painter on all the Walt Disney classic animated feature films for 30+ years. He also was a member of the California Water Color Society and American Water Color Society as well. This attractively-hued Bambi-inspired Fine Art painting by Art Riley is in gouache on board measuring 14" x 11". It is hand-signed by Art Riley in bottom right corner. It is also stamped on reverse "The Estate of Art Riley" along with his home address in Burbank. Mr. Riley exhibited his Fine Art nationally, and this piece is certainly worthy of exhibition. Minor handling and edge wear. Pinholes in corners. Overall condition is Good.
