"Happy-Go-Nutty" Illustration Original Art by Bob Singer (MGM, c. 1990s). "Hullo...sniff!" Chief Nut Catcher Meathead reacts to Screwy Squirrel, who has just busted out of the Crackpot County Nut House, in animation artist Bob Singer's tribute to one of Tex Avery's funniest -- and screwiest -- cartoons, 1944's Happy-Go-Nutty. Mr. Singer's long career in animation includes stints with Hanna-Barbera, Warner Brothers, and UPA, working on shows like The Flintstones, The Bugs Bunny/Roadrunner Show, and Droopy: Master Detective (which featured Screwball "Screwy" Squirrel). This art is in ink and watercolor on deckled edge paper, with an image size of 8" x 6.25". The page is floated on a plush mat measuring 20" x 16". Fine condition.
