YuYu Hakusho "The Preliminaries" Yusuke Urameshi Production Cel (Pierrot, 1994). "Ok then, I guess I should start warming up!" Yusuke Urameshi prepares for the Demon World Tournament in this original production cel from "The Preliminaries" of YuYu Hakusho. From the latter half of the exciting final season for this popular shonen series, "The Preliminaries" debuted on November 12, 1994 and revolved around the opening rounds of the Demon World Tournament which was proposed by Yusuke as an alternative to the all-out war predicted to be caused by a power imbalance across the realm. Yusuke's vigorous attack can be spotted in the closing scenes of the episode near the 20:24 timestamp as he takes on a whole demon horde with a flurry of attacks. Hand-painted to half figure, he measures 7.75" x 5.75" filling a large portion of the 12 field cel which is marked A13 in the top right and has been paired with a print background for display purposes. With typical handling and edge wear including pinholes at the top edge, minor linework fading with small areas of restoration, and faint surface wear/indents, overall this vigorous setup is in Very Good condition.
