Description
YuYu Hakusho Six Character Production Cel with Production Background and Animation Drawing (Pierrot, c. 1992-95). Six of the most beloved characters of the Shonen series YuYu Hakusho share the spotlight in this astounding hand-painted production cel, accompanied by the matching animation drawing. Based on the manga of the same title by Toshihiro Togashi, also renowned for Hunter x Hunter, this exciting anime series follows Yusuke Urameshi and his friends, working to solve dangerous paranormal cases. This 12-field production cel shows fantastic full-figure images of Kuwabara, Kurama, a masked Genkai, Hiei, Botan, and Yusuke resting on the floor, all sharing an overall image size of 5.25" x 3.5" and displayed on a production background done in gouache on a 14" x 10" background board. The matching animation drawing showcases our six characters done in graphite and colored pencils, featuring also color callouts in ink. Light paint residue is present on the drawing. Some fading can be seen on the cel's linework. The cel is taped to the background with archival artist tape, and it shows some creasing that doesn't affect the art. In Very Good condition with overall minor handling and edge wear from production.Auction Info
