You're in Love, Charlie Brown Production Cel Setup (Bill Melendez, 1967). At the end of the school year, love-sick Charlie Brown is miserable. He notices a note has been slipped into his hand that reads, "I like you Charlie Brown, signed the Little Red Head Girl." This is a rare hand-inked, hand-painted production 2-cel setup featuring Charlie Brown with a paper bag over his head, as Lucy and Schroeder look on. You can see this cel at about the 9:30 mark into the short. The bag over his head is a regular routine with Charlie Brown. He says, "Good grief... she's coming over here!" So, he grabs his lunch bag to hide! Lucy says, "Good grief Charlie Brown, you're ridiculous!" This is from only the fourth Charlie Brown TV Special. It was released on 6/12/67 on CBS, and was nominated for an Emmy. Great large full figure images, with sizes of 4" and 5". The cel setup is on a print background for presentation purposes. Any and all hand-inked 1960s Charlie Brown and Peanuts production cels are considered very rare. Very Good condition.
