Description
X-Men: The Animated Series "The Dark Phoenix, Part 2 - The Inner Circle" Wolverine Original Production Cel (Marvel Studios, 1994). "Here's Johnny!" Wolverine is channeling his inner Jack Nicholson impression as he charges into the secret sanctum of the Inner Circle who not only have the X-Men captured but also have manipulated Jean Grey into joining the Inner Circle. Originally aired on 11/12/1994 as Episode 12 of Season 3, the Inner Circle's leader Sebastian Shaw commands the Mastermind to seduce the Phoenix Force, which is still living inside Jean, so that they can manipulate it to destroy the X-Men. This hand-painted image of a deadly Wolverine is near full figure and in a great action-pose with his claws out ready to dispatch his prey. The 12 field cel image can be seen approximately at the 13:12 mark of the episode. The hand-painted image of Wolverine measures at 4.5" x 4.75" and is displayed over a print background for presentation purposes.
