Description
X-Men: The Animated Series "Come the Apocalypse" Storm, Rogue, and Cyclops Production Cel and Key Master Background (Marvel Studios, 1993). "I am APOCALYPSE! Look upon the future AND TREMBLE! All who oppose me...shall be crushed." The victorious X-Men watch as Apocalypse flees from his mortal enemies and Angel decides his future as an X-man. Originally aired on 2/27/1993 as Episode 10 of Season 1, the most ancient and powerful mutant Apocalypse schemes to destroy the entire world in order to bring forth a stronger one. The final confrontation takes place at the ancient site Stonehenge as shown in the image. This historical 12 Field cel is displayed over the key master background, which is painted, and can be seen approximately at the 20:27 mark. This multilayered cel only shows Rogue, Storm, and Cyclops as opposed to the TV show which includes Angel along with Rogue's gloves. Each character strikes a 'hero pose' with Storm measuring at 1.5" x 4", Rogue at 1.5" x 5.25", and Cyclops at 2" x 5.25". The overall condition is Very Good with minor handling wear and edge wear.Auction Info
