X-Men Cyclops and Phoenix Production Cel Setup (Marvel Studios, 1992-97). "It is good that you are here. Help me to prepare the others." "For what?" "For the battle to save the galaxy." Cyclops and Phoenix, Marvel Studios' veritable power couple, are featured here in this spectacular hand-painted original production cel from the hit animated series X-Men. Seen at the 3:56 mark of the episode "The Phoenix Saga- Part IV: Starjammers", this rare setup captures a dramatic moment from the 5-part epic Phoenix Saga, regarded by many as one of the greatest X-Men stories ever told. The characters measure 7" x 7.75" on the 12 field cels, and they are displayed on a printed background for presentation purposes. Numbered C1 and J1 in the lower right corners, the cels show minor handling and edge wear from normal studio use, and the condition overall is Very Good.Auction Info
