    Woody Woodpecker Production Cel, Background, and Drawing Group Signed by Walter Lantz (Walter Lantz, c. 1960s-70s). Woody drops down to a tropical island by way of failed parachute, in this scene from an later Woody short. This production cel of Woody has been trimmed and glued to an overlay cel, which has been signed by Walter Lantz, and placed over an original hand-painted production background, and aerial view of the island with a volcano and surrounding ocean. The background has also been signed by Mr. Lantz. Art is in Fine condition, professionally matted and framed with Plexiglas for an overall size of 25.75" x 22.75". The original production drawing of Woody and his parachute is also included; it's in graphite with red and blue pencil highlights on Walter Lantz Productions paper, and is signed by Lantz. The art is in Fine condition; separately matted and framed with Plexiglas, for an overall size of 17" x 20.5".
