    Description

Wonderful World of Color Tinker Bell Production Cel with Painted Background (Walt Disney, c. 1960s). The 1953 animated feature Peter Pan introduced a very special character, one near and dear to many a Disney aficionado -- Tinker Bell. Tink has been spreading joy and pixie dust ever since. She was regularly featured in the opening title on the television series Walt Disney's Wonderful World of Color, and here she is in an original hand-inked, hand-painted production cel of her and her magic wand, with a star-studded trail of pixie dust behind her. The cel is placed on a custom hand-painted background of clouds, by artist Tom Shea. The setup is matted with a brass title plate and an opening of 11.5" x 8.5", framed using Plexiglas for an overall size of 22.5" x 18.5". Fine condition.
