Description
Wolfman Jack - Halloween Special Production Cel setup (Kurtz, 1980). What a find! Just take a look at this setup, kids...Famed radio DJ (and longtime horror fan) Wolfman Jack makes an appearance here, caricatured as a talking tree to narrate this "teaser pose reel" for a Halloween special. At different points in the short film, he also appears as a stalagmite, a brick wall, a boulder, and a lantern - just to name a few! His distinctive gravelly voice recounts the tale of a prince and a princess trying to defeat a gaggle of unfriendly goblins. Hand-inked, hand-painted production cel setup measures 9" x 7" and features gorgeous line work, and delicate transparent wash effects for the coloring, which resembles watercolors. A wonderful, rare piece of memorabilia for animation fans and fans of Wolfman Jack, as well! Setup has been signed by award-winning animator/director Bob Kurtz in the bottom right corner.
