Description
Winnie the Pooh Rabbit and Tigger Production Cel with Hundred-Acre Wood Master Production Background for Educational Film (Walt Disney, c. 1980s). Tigger and Rabbit walk together on a wonderful snowy night in this lot, featuring a marvelous hand-painted production cel and a Master background of the Hundred-Acre Wood. Created by Walt Disney Studios Educational Film Division, a section of the studio dedicated to producing educational films during the 70s and 80s, this production cel has Tigger leading the way with a lantern to illuminate the path, accompanied by Rabbit, both sharing an image size of 1.75" x 2". The Master background, showing the wintery night with a full moon, is rendered in gouache on background board with a cel overlay with the linework. The lot is displayed on a 17" x 14.5" mat with an 11.5" x 8.5" opening, sold as-is. Showing minor handling wear from production, this stupendous lot is in Very Good condition.Auction Info
