Description
Winnie the Pooh Rabbit and Tigger Production Cel with Hundred-Acre Wood Master Production Background for Educational Film (Walt Disney, c. 1980s). Offered in this lot is a marvelous hand-painted production cel with a Master production background of the Hundred-Acre Wood, featuring Rabbit walking Tigger to his home during a snowy night. Disney's educational film division produced various animated short films and film strips during the '70s and '80s for the public school system, featuring Disney characters helping educate students on a variety of topics. The cozy winter scene has Rabbit wearing a jacket and carrying a lantern as he holds Tigger, with both characters measuring 1.5" x 1.5", shown on the gorgeous Master production background displaying Rabbit's house created in gouache on background board with a linework cel overlay layer. This setup is shown on a 17" x 14.5" mat with an 11.5" x 8.5" opening, sold as-is. In Very Good condition with mild handling and edge wear from production.Auction Info
