Description

Winnie the Pooh and the Honey Tree Pooh and Christopher Robin Production Cel (Walt Disney, 1966). "Oh, bother." Young Christopher Robin helps Pooh Bear up in this sweet original trimmed hand-painted production cel from Winnie the Pooh's first animated featurette, based on the first two chapters of A. A. Milne's 1926 children's novel, Winnie-the-Pooh. It would be the final film produced by Walt Disney, who passed away ten months after it was released. The film was later added to the feature-length The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh (1977). The cel image comes as Christopher Robin and Pooh are running from some angry bees; you can find it in the 1977 film, at the 13:28 mark. The combined image is approximately 3.5" x 3.5" and is placed on a print background, added for presentation purposes. Matted with an opening of 6.5" x 6.5" and framed using glass for an overall size of 13.75" x 13". In Very Good condition with minor handling wear.
