Walt Disney's Disneyland Opening Sequence Tinker Bell and Pixie Dust Effects Production Cel Setup (Walt Disney, c. 1957). Tinker Bell uses her magic wand to bring a pixie-dusted title to the opening credits of Walt Disney's Disneyland, the first iteration of Disney's anthology series. Presented in this lot is a wonderful three-cel setup depicting Tinker Bell as she makes the title of the show magically appear. This spectacular piece depicts Tink herself in a nearly full-figure image as well as two layers of sparkly pixie dust effects cels. The hand-painted, hand-inked image of Tink measures about 4" x 4.25" on a 16 field production cel numbered D62 in its lower right corner. The pixie dust sparkles are also hand-inked on 16 field production cels. The setup is displayed over a color print background for presentation purposes. The image of Tinker Bell can be found at about the 0:03 mark of the opening sequence. This excellent piece is in Very Good condition, with minor handling and edge wear.Auction Info
