Description
Vampire Hunter D Doris Production Cel (Ashi Productions, 1985). From the 1985 Vampire Hunter D OVA, we have in this lot a wonderful hand-painted production cel showing a lovely image of our lead female character, Doris Lang. This first adaptation of Hideyuki Kikuchi's novels was directed by Toyoo Ashida, telling the story of the titular D as he hunts down the nefarious Vampire Noble, Magnus Lee. Labeled B2 in the top right corner, this cel has Doris measuring 6.75" x 5.5", displayed on a printed background for presentation purposes, taped with archival artist tape. Presenting fading on the linework and overall mild handling and edge wear from production, the lot is in Very Good condition.More information about Ashi Productions.
