Uncle Tom's Cabana Red Hot as Little Eva Production Cel (MGM, 1947). Tex Avery directed this "politically incorrect" themed cartoon, which was released on 7/19/47. This short had Simon LeGree trying to foreclose on Uncle Tom's modest cabin -- which he turns into a swinging big-city nightclub in order to pay the mortgage. Red Hot makes an appearance in this short as "Little Eva," a southern singing belle. This is an outstanding hand-inked, hand-painted production cel of Little Eva in the middle of her musical number. You can see this around the 5:03 mark into the short. This is a full 12 field cel marked #33 in the bottom right corner, with as big of an image as we have ever seen of scintillating Red Hot, measuring 9". Matted with an opening of 11" x 9", and a full mat size of 18.5" x 16". Very Good condition.
