Description

Tom and Jerry Pecos Pest Uncle Pecos Production Cel (MGM, 1955). "Crambone!" Jerry's stuttering singer uncle comes to visit before his TV appearance, but needs new strings for his guitar... and Tom's whiskers work just fine! This is the short where Uncle Pecos sings an incredible version of the old folk song "Frog Went a-Courting," punctuated with malaprops, including the word "crambone" after each line. Here's a rare original hand-inked, hand-painted 12 field production cel of Uncle Pecos right after Tom gives in and hands him a whisker, after Pecos almost chops down the door with this axe; see it at the 5:21 mark in online viewings. Pecos and his axe have an approximate overall image size of 4.75" x 5". The cel is noted as 88A, and is placed on a print background for presentation purposes; a screen grab print of the scene is included for reference. Slight waviness in the cel; Very Good condition.
