    Description

Tom and Jerry Jerry and Friend Production Cel (MGM, 1964). In 1963, after leaving Warner Brothers, Chuck Jones went on to direct 34 Tom and Jerry theatrical shorts from 1963 to 1967. He gave Tom his own distinct look, with the "Bela Lugosi" eyebrows. This is a rare hand-inked hand-painted production cel of Jerry with another mouse. This is signed on the back by animation legend and this cartoon's director, Mr. Chuck Jones (1912-2002). It is very rare to see a Chuck Jones signature on any of his Tom and Jerry shorts artwork. Cute, adorable poses with images of 3" and 4". The cel has a Linda Jones seal. Framed with a mat opening of 12" x 10", in a 19" x 17" Plexiglas-front frame. Fine condition.
