Description
Todd McFarlane's Spawn Spawn Production Cel and Animation Drawing (HBO, c. 1997-98). Presented in this lot is a fantastic hand-painted production cel from the Emmy Award-winning animated series Todd McFarlane's Spawn featuring our titular protagonist. Based on the iconic character from Image Comics, this production is widely acclaimed for its dark aesthetics, sharp animation, and voice acting featuring the talents of Keith David in the lead role. This prime image of the emblematic antihero shows him engulfed in shadows, covered by his immediately recognizable red cape, measuring an image size of 10.25" x 7" on the 12-field cel, numbered A136 in the top edge. Included is the matching animation drawing, rendered in graphite and blue pencil. The drawing is stuck to the back of the cel. In Very Good condition with minor handling and edge wear from production.From the Spawn writer John Leekley Collection.
