Description
Todd McFarlane's Spawn "Seed of the Hellspawn" Spawn Production Cel (HBO, 1999). "I don't give a damn! I've already lost everything. There's nothing more to lose." After hearing that regaining his appearance may come with a cost, Spawn makes it clear that such is not an impediment. Offered in this lot is a dramatic image of the eponymous antihero from Todd McFarlane's Spawn. An adaptation of the groundbreaking Image comic, this series premiered on May 16, 1997. This 12-field cel was created to appear approximately at the 7:05 mark of "Seed of the Hellspawn," and shows Spawn veiled in darkness, holding a skull with his representative red cape flowing around him, all with an image size of 10.25" x 7". The cel is displayed on a printed background for presentation purposes, taped with archival artist tape. With minor handling and edge wear from production, the lot is in Very Good condition.From the Spawn writer John Leekley Collection.
