    Description

    To Itch His Own Butcher the Bulldog Production Cel (Warner Brothers, 1958). While this dog resembles Mark Anthony, it is actually a character called Butcher the Bulldog. This is a very rare 12 field, hand-inked and hand-painted production cel from the Mike Maltese-written theatrical short. The short was directed by Chuck Jones and premiered on 6/28/58. The story involves The Mighty Angelo, the strongest flea in Norbet's Flea Circus, who decides to take a vacation on the skin of Butcher. An outstanding image of 8". A "53" is written in the bottom right corner. Fifties-era Looney Tunes production cels are rare and this one has some paint loss and is cracking. The paint is dry and will need some restoration. In Very Good condition.
