    Description

The Ugly Duckling Production Cel Courvoisier Setup (Walt Disney, 1939). This short was co-directed by Jack Cutting and Clyde Geronimi. It was technically the last Silly Symphony theatrical short, released on 4/7/39. It won the Academy Award for best-animated short. Clarence Nash did all the duck sounds in the short -- a rare non-Donald Duck assignment! This is a great original Courvoisier hand-inked, hand-painted production cel of the Ugly Duckling. It is on a Courvoisier hand-painted background. The original Courvoisier sticker is on the reverse of the frame. Nice image of 3". Matted with an opening size of 9" x 7" and framed with glass for an overall size of 16" x 15". Fine condition.
