Description
The Super Mario Bros. Super Show! Mario and Luigi Production Cel Group of 4 (DIC, 1989). "Swing your arms from side to side, come on, it's time to go. Do the Mario!" The plumber brothers make a spectacular appearance in this fantastic lot, showcasing four 12 field sized production cels from the animated show The Super Mario Bros. Super Show! Premiering in 1989, the TV show had live-action and animated segments featuring the most famous pair of plumbers in videogames, Mario and Luigi. The first two cels show Luigi being unsure about his brother's plan, as Mario points confidently. The two hand-painted cels display Luigi standing at 6.5" with Mario measuring 5". Next, we have a great image of the Mario brothers probably discussing what to do with the pile of garbage in front of them. Luigi measures 4.5" with Mario measuring 4" in front of the pile of trash, measuring an image size of 12" x 4". Finally, the brothers seem to have just decided to walk away in the last cel, with the plumbers sharing an image size of 2.5" x 5.25". The four cels are featured on printed background for presentation purposes. The cels show light handling wear from production, In Very Good condition.Auction Info
