Description
The Smurfs Handy Smurf and Brainy Smurf Production Cel Group of 2 (Hanna-Barbera, c. 1981-89). The Smurfs, animated by Hanna-Barbera Studios was an adaptation of a 1958 Belgian comic by the artist Peyo. Since the creation of the animated show, the franchise has expanded enormously into advertising, films, Ice Capades, video games, theme parks, and dolls. Here are two fantastic hand-painted original production cels from the classic show, featuring two fan-favorites. Handy Smurf is depicted at 3" x 3.5", and Brainy Smurf measures 3.5" x 7" including the rope. The cels show minor handling wear and are taped to printed backgrounds for presentation purposes.Auction Info
