Description
The Smurfs Gargamel and Smurf Production Bumper Cel and Key Master Production Cel (Hanna-Barbera, c. 1980s). A defiant Smurf (Jokey, perhaps) gives Gargamel the raspberry in this WAY cool original hand-painted 12 field bumper cel! Evil wizard Gargamel is always chasing the Smurfs, with the intention of eating them or drawing off their blue energy to power his various schemes. He's definitely the kind of villain you love to hate! The famous ventriloquist and actor Paul Winchell provided Gargamel's voice in this series, which began in 1981 and ran for nine seasons. If ol' Gargy is your Smurfy thing, this is the one to have! Bumper cels like this were used to bridge the commercial message spots during each show. The combined image size is approximately 9.75" x 7.75"; the cel is placed on the Key Master airbrushed background for a wonderful production setup.
