Description
The Simpsons "Worst Episode Ever" Milhouse and Bart Production Cel (Fox, 2001). "AIEEEE!" Milhouse and Bart engage in a comic book-style battle royale in this scene from the 11th episode of Season 12. Offered in this lot is a truly unique, one-of-a-kind held production cel of Milhouse and Bart. Held cels are particularly rare as they are essentially frozen images where only one cel is needed. This hand-painted cel with extra-thick outlines features full-figure images of Milhouse and Bart about to come to blows. As this happens, the scene freezes and morphs from animation to an image in a comic book. This scene also served as a commercial bumper in the show and can be seen at the 15:22 and 15:28 mark. The characters together measure 4.5" x 4" on a 12 field cel over a matching background. The cel bears a gold Fox seal in the lower right and comes with a studio-issued COA on back of the frame. A really great piece featuring these longtime friends. The art is in a 22" x 19.5" frame under Plexiglas with a mat opening of 12" x 9". Condition is Very Good. All frames are sold as-is. Photos are not representative of actual frame condition.More information about 20th Century Fox Artist.
