Description
The Simpsons "The Tracey Ullman Show" Maggie Production Cel (Fox, 1987). Marge asks Bart and Lisa to look after little Maggie in this early Simpson cartoon segment from the Tracy Ullman Show. The Simpsons got their start with minute long spots in this popular sketch comedy show on the new Fox TV Channel. Offered here is an original hand-painted production cel of Marge, Maggie, Bart and Lisa from "Babysitting" in series' debut season. The characters together measure 7.5" x 6.5" on a 12 field cel setup with the matching Key Master cel background. The characters in these early Simpson shorts differ wildly from how they appear later in the Simpson TV series and are more in line with Matt Groening's original designs. This is a one-of-a-kind Key Master setup from the dawn of this record-breaking animated franchise. The art is in a mat of 14" x 11" with a window of 12" x 9".
