Description
The Simpsons "Rosebud" Simpson Family Production Cel Setup (Fox, 1993). "It's not your original bear, m'hey, but it is programmed to be just as cuddly." Professor Frink introduces Smithers and Burns to another one of his certain-to-go-haywire contraptions in this original production cel from Season 5 Episode 4 of The Simpsons. This show was a parody on the cinematic masterpiece Citizen Kane with Mr. Burns in search of his lost teddy bear Bobo and the scene depicted here appears around the 10:44 mark. In this lot is an original hand-painted production cel of Professor Frink, Robo-Bobo, Mr. Smithers and Mr. Burns. All four characters are in full-figure and together measure 9.5" x 7" on a 12 field 3-cel setup over a matching print background. The top cel bears a Fox seal in the lower right and the art comes with a Certificate of Authenticity. It's a key scene featuring the relatively rare Frink character from a classic Simpsons episode. The art is in an 18" x 14" mat with an 11" x 9" window. Minor handling; condition is Fine.More information about 20th Century Fox Artist.
