Description

The Simpsons "Rosebud" Production Cel (Fox, 1993). "It seems to be stuck," Homer exclaims when trying to trade Bobo the teddy bear to Mr. Burns in exchange for $1 million and three Hawaiian Islands. This is an incredible hand-painted production cel of Homer Simpson, Maggie, and Bobo the teddy bear that can be seen at the 13:39 mark of the 4th Episode of Season 5, "Rosebud." The cel comes from the personal collection of Wes Archer, who directed the episode. The total painted character size for Maggie and Homer measures 5.75" x 6". The 12.5" x 10.5" cel is displayed over a scene-matching printed background. The condition is Very Good, with minor handling and some tape used along the edges to secure the cel in place over the background. There is a 20th Century Fox seal in the bottom-right corner.
From The Simpsons Director Wes Archer Collection.
