Description
The Simpsons "Homer's Triple Bypass" Homer and Bart Production Cel (Fox Studios, 1992). Homer is in the hospital after suffering several heart attacks, but he still has the energy to throttle Bart in this classic image from Season 4's "Homer's Triple Bypass" episode. At least he does in this original hand-painted 12 field production cel, because it doesn't seem to appear in the episode, even though it's noted as 9F09, the production code listed in the cel's lower left edge that matches the episode. We can only conclude this was deleted from the episode, but this is such an iconic pose of Bart receiving a "Homer Squeeze" that we feel this is still a very important cel. The combined image size of Homer, Bart, and the bed blanket measures approximately 11.5" x 7". The cel is placed on a print background for presentation purposes. The cel is in Very Good to Fine condition with light handling wear.Auction Info
