Description
The Simpsons "Hello Gutter, Hello Fadder" Homer and Maggie Production Cel (Fox, 1999). "You're a tough cookie, Maggie, but I'm going to win you over, just like I did with Lisa." Resolved to spend more quality time with his youngest child, Homer and Maggie bond in the backyard in this original production cel from "Hello Gutter, Hello Fadder" of their family's titular animated series The Simpsons. Debuting as Episode Six of Season 11 on November 14, 1999, it saw Homer hastily experience the incredible highs and lows of becoming an overnight celebrity who's then quickly relegated to "yesterday's news". In the episode's final act Homer decides the solution to his happiness is to reconnect with his children and this shared moment with Maggie can be spotted near the 18:18 timestamp. Maggie appears in full-figure while Homer is nearly so, missing only his shoes, with the duo hand-painted to respective heights of 3.75" and 6.5". The 12 field multilayer cel has been paired with a scene-matching print background for display purposes. The piece bears a gold Fox seal in the lower right, is accompanied by a CoA, and has been framed under Plexiglas to an overall size of 20.75" x 18.25" with an aperture of 11.5" x 9". All frames are sold as-is. Photos are not representative of actual frame condition.
